Joann Ozog Receives NBC’s Jefferson Award

5/10/2004 - Chicago, IL - Mrs. Joann Ozog was selected by Channel 5 NBC as one of its 2004 Jefferson Award Honorees. The award is presented to ordinary people who do extraordinary things as volunteers in their community.Mrs. Ozog was nominated because of her devotion to The Polish Museum of America and the programs that she has promoted within Polonia. Larry Wert, President and General Manager of NBC5 Chicago, congratulated the award winners and said We are proud to be the station that shines the light on your contributions. Vignettes about each of these award winners will be shown on Thursdays at 5 p.m. throughout May and June on Channel 5 NBC in the Chicagoland area.
