PAC Northern California Division Statement by the current PAC-NCD Executive Board

7/11/2006 - Polish American Congress
Northern California Division

San Francisco, July 9th, 2006

Statement by the current PAC-NCD Executive Board

1. Annual meeting of the Polish American Congress – Northern
Division started at 1:00 p.m. according to the written Agenda (see
Attachment #1) submitted prior to the meeting by the President of the
Division, Anthony Zukovsky, to the Division Secretary, Sebastian Zurek,
members and general audience.

2. Registration of members and delegates from member
organizations began at 1:00 p.m. and continued until 1:50 p.m. During
registration all members in good standing and delegates of member
organizations in good standing, who have paid PAC Division dues
continuously for each year of membership for the years 2004, 2005 and
2006, either before or at the present meeting, received voting ballots.
Individuals attending the meeting who made claims to membership but did
not pay membership dues as per above were not given voting ballots.
These individuals then began to disrupt the meeting with unruly
behavior, shouting and arguments under Zakrzewski’s leadership.

3. At 1:50 p.m. the President, Anthony Zukovsky, attempted
several times to call the meeting to order but was unable to do so
because the meeting was being disrupted. During this disruption, the
President introduced a motion to elect as Chairman of the meeting, Mr.
Mroz, This motion was then seconded by Krystyna Chciuk. Waldemar
Glodek, Vice President and Sebastian Zurek, Division Secretary, began
tolling the vote on the motion but were unable to conclude the toll
because they were interrupted by Mr. Zakrzewski and his unruly
associates. Mr. Mroz was therefore unable to assume his position as
Chairman and the meeting was unable to proceed. As a result, the
President was forced to declare that the meeting was unruly, out of
order and had to terminate the meeting to be continued at a later date
to be determined by the current PAC-NCD Executive Board.
