| Polonia Ensemble is participating in the XXVI International Festival of Folkloric Dances Festidanza in Peru 8/4/2006 - Polonia Ensemble is participating in the XXVI International Festival of Folkloric Dances Festidanza in Peru, one of the most fascinating countries in the world. Our concert tour will begin in Lima, followed by Cusco, Arequipa and Chivay. We will visit the Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu, spend night on Taquile Island, trek to Tapay at “the end of the world”. We plan on exploring the world's deepest canyon, Colca Canyon, with Andrzej Pietowski, the Polish explorer who first came to Peru with Polish kayakers from Krakow in 1981 to go down the Colca River.
