With Much Sadness - Loss of a Dear Friend & Musician -- Stas Ogrodny

8/11/2006 - With Much Sadness - Loss of a Dear Friend & Musician

Polka Friends,

As you may have heard, it is with great sadness that we have received word of the passing of a wonderful man, musician, husband, father and friend to many. Stas Ogrodny of Henny & the Versa J's passed away yesterday morning after suffering a heart attack earlier last week.

For those of you who knew Stas well, we have indeed lost a great friend and a wonderful Polka musician, and I would ask you to join us in prayers for him and his family. Please keep Dee-Dee, Ryan, the Ogrodny & Jasiewicz families in your thoughts and prayers, now and always. Stas and his family have always been some of the kindest and sweetest people I have ever known in the polka music field, and I grieve with them in this loss, and I pray God brings them strength and faith during this difficult time.

May God bless you and watch over you, Dee-Dee, Ryan and the entire Versa J's family. Your friends are thinking of you and will always be here for you.
